The ideal combination
of therapy & surgery

Compact, lightweight, easy to use
Laser Assistant is a tool accessible to all veterinary practices and finally makes it possible to apply laser therapies and surgical activities for your patients.
The device is equipped with a clear user interface that guides the user in selecting protocols for both therapy and surgery.
Laser Assistant was designed to guarantee first and foremost the safety of the operator and the patient, furthermore its use has been made handy thanks to a series of interchangeable accessories that make it a tool quickly adaptable to different applications.

The LASER light emitted by an optical fiber in contact with the tissue allows its vaporization and photo-coagulation of the surrounding area.
The LASER can work in both continuous and pulsed mode.
In this way the following advantages can be obtained:

BLUE LASER light at 450nm is at the peak absorption of hemoglobin and is therefore absorbed very efficiently, causing fast and localized vaporization of tissue.
This allows for very rapid and precise surgery even at very low powers, resulting in minimized thermal damage. Furthermore, the high absorption in hemoglobin generates greater hemostasis. Contrastingly, in 'classic' infrared laser surgery, a significant portion of the laser light scatters within the tissue, causing undesirable thermal damage.
In addition, the 450 nm wavelength, being close to the UV spectrum, shares some properties of UV rays, resulting in significantly enhanced antimicrobial effects compared to infrared radiation.
This promotes effective disinfection of contaminated tissue areas thus prevents wound infections.
The advantages of BLUE LASER in surgery:
• Enhanced cutting precision and fewer thermal side effects;
• Enhanced coagulation thanks to hemoglobin peak absorption;
• Reduced wound infection and faster recovery due to enhanced antimicrobial effects;
• Simplified operation, as it removes the necessity for fiber tip initiation.
